ChoicePoint Claims Solutions’ decision support technology includes functionality to deliver results to management, back-office analysts and front-line staff via a Web interface. Since system results are stored in a standard relational database management system (RDBMS), the results are also available to other tools for ad-hoc analyses or data retrieval by other front-line systems.
Results server
For most companies, results are delivered to front-line staff via current operational systems. In situations where this delivery approach is not desirable or needs to be augmented with other information, ChoicePoint can deliver the results over a corporate intranet or a secure Internet connection. These results are delivered via Java servlets and JSP pages.
ChoicePoint Claims Solutions has developed two frameworks for delivering decisioning results:
- Case management.
Includes queue management and task assignment functionality so that front-line staff can effectively review important results and prioritize efforts (e.g., call these X prospects today, review these potentially fraudulent transactions today, etc.).
- Consolidated views.
The decisioning platform can capture data from a variety of systems. This allows the results server to provide consolidated customer views that may not be possible with existing systems. These views can be accessed from the case management framework or via simple or complex searches.
Reporting server
For companies that only need basic reporting functionality, these solutions typically provide static reports periodically that are delivered via a Web browser. For more complex implementations, these tools can include browser-based dynamic reports with automated drill-down functionality. |
